SPEAK UP

Today, let us speak up about: DEPRESSION!

1.    Where does depression come from?

A.  The environment you are in: Home, Work, School, etc.

B.   Relationships: Family, Friends, Co-workers, Classmates

C.   Bad habits: Procrastinating, Being Unorganized, Hoarding, Overeating, etc.

D.  Abuse: Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, and Verbal.

E.   Trying to live up to human beings’ standards (Mainly media).

2.    Who gets affected by depression?

A.  Every age!!!!

B.   Both genders!!!

C.   Children can be depressed from being bullied, home environment, school environment, peer pressure, dealing with adult problems at a young age.

D.  Adults can be depressed from the pressure of maintaining a stable home, keeping up with endless bills, keeping up with life, fear of being alone.

3.   What are ways to cure depression for good?

A.  THROW AWAY THE DEPRESSION PILLS, ALCOHOL, DRUGS, BAD FOODS, GOSSIP, ETC. that temporarily numbs you from reality. The problem still exists if you do not take the accurate steps to solve them.

B.   Take a seat, evaluate yourself, write down the problems, research healthy solutions, and take small steps (without announcing to the world). If the solution you have tried didn’t work, DO NOT GIVE UP! Keep trying. The easiest thing to do is give up!

C.   Surround yourself with positive people, positive music, positive everything. Everything is about energy. After a while, all of the positive energy you soak in will rub off.

D.  NEVER run away from or try to avoid the problem(s). Face them and make the change. If you are not your own solution, you are evidently your own problem.

E.   Walk away from people that feed into your depression. If they cared, they would help get you out of it, not watch you drown.

F.   Pray!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot express that enough.

Speak Up/ Relationships

Speaking Up

Today, let us speak up about: RELATIONSHIPS!

1.      Family

A.      There shouldn’t be a greater bond than the one you have with your own blood. Family is where the seeds are planted, grown, and flourished.

B.      Sometimes families are too busy criticizing, they forget to be family. The goal is to guide each other into HIS light!

C.     To my FAM-IL(OVE)Y(OU)

2.       Friends

A.      These are the people we confide in. Especially at times when you and your family aren’t seeing eye to eye.

B.      Sometimes true friends are more like family than your real family.

C.     Valuable lesson: Don’t watch how your friends treat you. Watch how they treat others; that’s the real them.

D.     Age is nothing but a number when it comes to true friendships. The most valuable knowledge I have retained in my lifetime has been from younger and elderly individuals. The young; with their big imagination for life and no fear point of views. The elderly; with their wisdom and undying faith.

3.      Classmates

A.      These are normally 3rd in line on the list of relationships.

B.      In a sense, classmates are like family. You learn together, work on projects together, eat together, spend a good amount of your day together, etc…

C.      These are the people you learn your “book smarts” with.

4.      Co-workers

A.      These are the people you learn your “street smarts” with.

B.      In the same sense that classmates are like family; so are co-workers. The only difference is that we are all consciously competing to win the “rich” title. By any means!

C.     Co-workers work like married couples. You all can work to achieve greatness together. OR, allow $$$money$$$ to get in the way and work against one another: leading to divorce!

5.      Marriage

A.      This is a relationship where two roads merge into one.

B.       Marriage is a serious commitment that is taken lightly in this world.

C.     It is a promise for two souls to intertwine. To walk on one path together. To reflect God’s love. To build an empire on a solid foundation.

D.     One of the biggest Blessings a couple can receive. Two heads are better than one.

6.      Spiritual

A.      This relationship should be number one on the list. Reality is, we don’t reach that strong, spiritual level until we grow through: Family, friends, classmates, co-workers, marriage (optional).

B.      This relationship is of higher overstanding.

C.     Do not believe everything you hear or see. Research for your own comprehension and spiritual satisfaction.

A new Blessing in my life has been revealed to me. This blessing is called wordsbyladyg.com. My very own blog site! I get ecstatic just thinking about it and where it can lead to. Unlike other blog sites, mine will give us all the opportunity to grow together in wisdom. Life teaches us a lot if we are willing to learn. The main objective is to spread as much love as I possibly can and to express my thoughts through my writings and pictures. My vision for my site is to eventually turn it into a movement that may change lives for the better. The amount of chaos this misguided world possesses comes from the lack of love given and/or received. The four lettered word 'love' is the exact potion to help heal wounds and open scars. Why not be a part of that movement?!   My name, Ghadir, means sound of the stream that leads to a river. I believe it fits me well, because I want to be the voice (sound) of love (the stream) that leads to masses of people (the river). This journey will also give Janelle and Jacob (my children) the true meaning of love. I want to instill the important factors of life in them leading by example.  My heart and soul are prepared to hold your hands. Let us create the chain of warriors (strong, wise, and humble), instead of the chains created by politics and religion shackling us mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually every day generation upon generation.  Words are very powerful; therefore, please allow mine to speak volumes to your souls!
