As a songwriter, SassySingz has written original music for her projects as well
as others. She wrote and produced her first independent single, “True
Love” in collaboration with producer DaHaitian Kidd in 2009. To keep the
momentum going, she collaborated with DJ Big Ben to produce “Maybach Miami,” an
ode to her hometown which received significant rotation at local radio
stations.
Released in 2011,
SassySingz executive produced her first mixtape, “The Threat.” She has also
written the hook for Young Funzy on “Out the Ghetto,” and co-written “Going
Crazy” with Vulcha Smooth. SassySingz’s last project, The Revival: R&B is
Not Dead, was her tribute to R&B.
Building a powerful reputation for herself, SassySingz has received numerous
accolades. She was named Miami Garden’s 2011 Breakout Artist and was the
recipient of the “2011 Florida Next Big Thing” award for R&B Soul Singer of
the year. She most recently won Best Female R&B artist of 2012 at the Best
in Florida Awards. Belvit Jordan, Founder of “Save the Twinz”: Live Pink!
Breast Cancer Organization, chose one of SassySingz’s original songs, “Ultimate
Fear,” to be the organization’s theme song. 2014 Sassy was the Headliner for
