Christopher King – KINGTHEBRAND – TAMPA FL AKA “KING”
LBM: How did you start and how long have you been doing it?
King: I began working along in 2002 as a Disc Jockey in Okinawa, Japan and it blossomed from there. I can honestly say I have done all and everything that I wanted to do from owning nightclubs, to international investment deals. I have learned lessons from some of the industry greats and some of the aspiring worse from managing Field Mob to working Valet for B B King. Managing models started in 2002 in Japan
LBM: What types of modelling do you do?
King: I focus on High Fashion and Fashion Consulting, dressing our men in ladies in the proper attire is key element in society today. We all like to look good but who is taking the time to educate our youth and starting there in the education process. Often times we are trying to rehabilitate grown individuals but missing vital times in our youth lives and educating it there when they are young and minds are like a sponge.
LBM: Have you modelled for any house hold brands or names?
King: I am currently a Brand Ambassador and endorsed by Clique Vodka, Beard Gains, Dappertime Watches, Complete Bow Ties, KING Cigars - owner
LBM: What inspires you?
King: The ability to affect change in someone’s life and helping another person achieve greatness in their eyes.
LBM: Do you prefer working on location or in a studio?
King: Honestly I prefer location it gives more flexibility when shooting I can really work the camera or work with the client in a more honest environment.
LBM: What is the furthest place you have travelled for a shoot?
King: About 6 hours away from home I have traveled for a photo shoot, but for a gig I have been all over the country to include Japan and Korea
LBM: What the craziest photo shoot you have ever done? What do you think makes a good model?
King: A good model is made from an individual that can understand the business and have knowledge about branding, image importance and marketing also overall business. Her network will generate its own awareness if those elements are achieved.
LBM: What preparations do you do before a shoot?
King: My Haircut takes about 2 hours, wardrobe and styling is about a 2 week process. A bald head and a beard, I get heat about this one.
LBM: Who is your favorite model?
King: Fonzworth Bentley or FB is someone I know personally and really admirer his choice of hustle and career gain.
LBM: What are some of your upcoming projects?
King: I am continually booked for fashion weeks, fashion shows and nonprofit speaking engagements on fashion importance and clothes etiquette. My next engagement is Jan 31, 2015 in Tampa Florida a Branding and Imaging event “The Midnight Mixer”
