Born in Santo Domingo, DR on December 25, 1989, my single hard working mother and I migrated to the United States where we maintained a life in New York City until we decided to move to the downtown area of jersey City, NJ. As the only child of a single parent entertaining I had to be one of my childhood priorities. I often would imagine I had my own television show and present to my many teddy bears and dolls.

Here is where I met my first love, acting. Since that moment, the rest of my youth was a magnet for entertainment. In fourth grade I joined my school band. I was a clarinet player and played in many concerts. I started modeling at the age of 13, once a close friend asked me to participate in a fashion show. This is where my window of opportunity opened. I, just like any other model, had to participate in a photo shoot where I placed together my first portfolio that I ambitiously began to send out to many companies and magazines. Eventually through my hard work I was able to pose for teen people magazine when I was fifteen, as well as independent films and many photo shoots. At 17, I decided to focus more on acting and enrolled into a class at HB Studio, a well-known acting school in New York. However every story has a climax, and at the age of nineteen I met a man that changed my life. He got me pregnant and then physically abused me. Being young I made a grave mistake, I allowed him to convince me to leave my career, to satisfy his jealous and insecure tendencies. I lost my confidence and my self-esteem, the same tools that gave me the window that I believed was closed. We parted ways finally and through my conversations with loved ones and family I slowly began to gather motivation.
